Ally has been working in the London office since 2006 and commissions books for students and academics in the broad field of education. The tea-fiend of the team, Ally enjoys talking ideas through with a good cup of tea and her favourite activity at the moment is looking through the photographs from her recent wedding! She is passionate about making her books as accessible as possible while not over-simplifying the content.

David joined Continuum's London office in 1996 as an Editorial Assistant on the Education list, before moving on to run Continuum's lists in Film and Music in 2000. In 2001 he moved to Continuum's New York office, where he's been based ever since. In 2009, he led the decision to start up an Education list publishing books out of Continuum's American base and is very much enjoying this role so far. Among other things, David loves travel, tennis, the novels of Jonathan Coe, and "Lost".

Anna has worked at Continuum for 6 years and in 2009 moved from our humanities publishing to manage the education team in the UK. She is loving the chance to work in such a dynamic subject and with such interesting, enthusiastic and committed authors. Anna enjoys talking about books and technology - handily combined in a shiny new ereader - and likes to spend time with friends in London or by the sea in the West country.

Rosie joined the education team in August 2010 and assists all of the UK editors in their activities. She has resisted the urge to follow in the footsteps of her family members and become a teacher, but remains passionate about educational issues. Her favourite things are learning languages, going on French adventures and scaling the fells of the Lake District.

Jenny came to Continuum in 2007 (originally as an intern!) and has worked on many different subject areas since then. She is delighted to now manage the marketing for the Education list in the UK and Rest of World, and is particularly interested in growing our social media outreach. In her spare time she likes to cook (French food being a current favourite), trawl vintage furniture shops looking for mid-century gems, lindy-hop and (like everyone in publishing), read.

Kara joined the Continuum team in August 2010 as the education marketing manager for North and South America. She moved to New York from Madison, WI, and loves every minute of her time in the city. When not at work, Kara enjoys eating all the amazing food NYC has to offer, walking through its beautiful neighborhoods and parks, and taking advantage of the New York Public Library.
